I put up two posts with pics from our friend Jameson's 5th Bday Party!! The kiddos had a blast and were completely exhausted by the time we left. Thank goodness the party is only 3 hours long....haha! This is the same place Tristan requested to have his party again because the kids get to play with so much stuff and just get to run around, they ALL love it. This was a good reminder for Tristan before his party in February. When we were leaving he was super excited for his party to be coming and talked about it all the way home. Loved watching Makenna play there for the first time and like always everyone was talking about how "big" she acts in what she does and how well she is able to do things. She is a crazy one and has to keep up with her big bro which is probably most of the reason for her being so "big". Who knows Tristan sure was a handful as well with no older sibling to follow so it may just be the genes. Anyhoo....enjoy the pics.

Here is a short video of Makenna cracking up at her brother. Tristan was dancing around all crazy in his underwear (as always) and Makenna was laughing so hard at him. It was hysterical to watch. I caught them on video and just had to share it. You cannot help but giggle along with Makenna. TOO FREAKING CUTE!!! THESE KIDDOS ARE MY WHOLE WORLD!

Just like these pics show he usually doesn't mind it at all and lets her join right in. I love to watch these sibling moments.

These are a few pics from Tristan's first hair cut at an actual hair cut place. This is the first time he actually let us take him some where to get it done. He did a GREAT job and all the ladies even said so. He did however need to sit on Daddy's lap, but all in all he did awesome. He looked so cute with his cap thing on and letting the lady do her thing. For some reason Tristan decided he would not let me take a pic of his hair afterwards so hopefully in the next few days I will have a pic of him with his new hair cut.

Makenna's first real good boo boo....YIKES! Hit her head on the TV stand and got a great goose egg with some beautiful blue/purple bruising. I almost cried this time....the first good one always gets me. Did not phase her as you can tell by the cheeser grin on her face. OUCH!

Here is the little munchkin at the table sitting and eating her breakfast like such a big girl. Makenna woke up nice and early Saturday morning at 530am. She went straight to the table, climbed up in a chair and proceeded to tell me, "EAT, EAT, EAT!" I got her milk, a banana and some cereal. I even put milk in her cereal this time to try it out and she did a great job! She is something else I tell ya! Love this girl.

I just had to point out that I am sure you can all see the mess of toys on the floor in the video. This just further proves my point when I say, "WE DO NOT NEED MORE TOYS!" Also Makenna the Tornado just threw a ton of toys out of the toy box, dumped all the legos out of the bag and then proceeded to kick them all over the place....really?? They are truly crazy kids.

Here is a video I had to share. So Makenna's new thing is climbing into her shopping cart and then to be even more of the daredevil that she is, she stands up in it and does a little bounce dance. Yes, I know what you are thinking....I have a heart attack each time she does it, but darn it she gets in there and does it so fast. I have been hiding the cart when I cannot watch her every second she is around it. I did even let her take a couple spills to try to deter her from doing it, but do you think that has stopped her....NOPE! She has refrained from standing up in it as much, but she climbs in it all the time still. So tonight she is hanging out in it, dangling her feet talking and big bro decides to take her for a ride. She just loves every minute of course so here they are my adorable kiddos. They are definitely keeping me busy, but I am loving every minute of it and loving on the every second I can.

Here is a short video of Tristan dancing to Imagination Movers. He is so freaking cute and hilarious to watch sometimes. He kept saying, "Mom take my picture grandma would love this!" He is a crack up. His new thing is saying grandma gave me, made me and would love this. I say to him a lot, let me take a picture or video because grandma would love to see that and apparently that is something he is going to be saying a lot lately. TOO FUNNY!!

So I have been lagging on my blog postings because Tristan and I were both sick this last weekend with the stomach flu. Poor him and me, puked all saturday night and sunday morning. It was not fun and that is the worst I have felt in a very long time. UGH! So glad it is over. Neither Patrick or Makenna got it thank goodness, guess Tristan and I were just lucky....NOT!!

Where do these curls come from??? I have the most straight hair ever and I am just amazed to see these beautiful little curls. Patrick did have curls when he was little so maybe that is where they came from.

So we celebrated New Year's Eve with our favorite friends, the Kloster Family and the Tracey Family. We had a great time, ate some great food, drank some yummy adult drinks and had a blast watching the kids play together. I am sorry to admit that we did not stay up until midnight to enjoy ringing in 2011. The kids were beat from playing and they were in bed by 8pm. We were in bed by 10pm after watching a movie at home. I have to say 2011 was just as exciting to me the next morning and I was well rested as I enjoyed it....haha! Anyway I hope you all had a fun and safe New Year's Eve. I also hope that 2011 is a good year for us all and brings us many good things in life.
